Founded in 2006
Owner and master electrician, Gil Resto, started GR Electric out of his home with one vehicle in 2006. He built the company with nothing but his determination, passion, drive and the support of his wife, Barbara. Gil’s skill along with his extensive knowledge in electrical code paired with his forward-thinking nature has allowed GR Electric to grow as a reputable family-owned and operated merit shop specializing in commercial and industrial electrical contracting designs and solutions.
Today GR Electric holds a highly regarded reputation for leading the industry in partnering with architects, designers, general contractors and engineers on safe and code-compliant design building plans that exceed client expectations.

Safety
GR Electric electricians are equipped to deliver quality electrical solutions for both new and old construction with extensive experience in troubleshooting, repairs, and installations. Our dependable team of professional licensed electricians, continue to receive the latest OSHA safety training and are versed in using and applying the national electrical code. Our company standard is that all field employees are a minimum of OSHA 10 certified and all Journeymen, Foremen, and Project Managers are OSHA 30 certified. In addition to maintaining OSHA certifications, all employees undergo state and federal background checks, and though continuing education and on-site implementation of safety practices GR Electric continues to exceed the industry in meeting and maintaining safety standards.

From the office to field, GR Electric is committed to providing a highly trained and skilled workforce. Our team members are highly skilled, passionate and committed to quality with a reputation for excellence.
Vocational Internship
GR Electric partners with local trade schools in the Lehigh Valley. We give students the hands-on experience and the educational background they need to quickly transition into the workforce. Our internship takes place in a controlled environment, under owner and master electrician Gil Resto. As their mentor, Gil is passionate about working with each student individually on understanding the importance of safety, skills, materials and tools. Our vocational interns leave the program with the intent of entering GR Electric’s Apprenticeship Program knowing how to apply the knowledge learned to the field.
Apprenticeship Program
GR Electric provides eligible candidates a fully paid annual scholarship to attend IEC’s accredited national program. IEC is regarded as among the best in the industry, and is recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor and State Apprenticeship Councils across the country. Our apprentices are given the opportunity in the field to thrive under our team of highly qualified skilled electricians. Our team takes pride in mentoring our apprentices through assisting in advancing their knowledge in safety, skills, materials and tools.
Continuing Education
GR Electric is dedicated to investing in continued education for all of our team members. We provide the latest in safety, skill, and leadership training which gives our team members the knowledge and opportunity to succeed.
